Founded during the COVID pandemic, this family-owned bubble tea store derives its name from Joy & Journey—our mission is to bring happiness through fresh, flavorful offerings and share a journey of comfort and great taste, welcoming students, faculty, healthcare workers, and neighbors with homey fare for any occasion.

“Fantastic little spot for me to order Poké bowls in the Oakland area. A nice little hidden gem. It’s hard to see from the street but once you get in there, you can tell it’s very authentic decent prices and great options. Very fast and helpful with questions even let me taste the sauce I wasn’t sure about.“

“I don’t know how I have not left this place a review. I work in Pittsburgh rather frequent. This means long days I like to find a good place for lunch. Poke is one of my favorite foods and we do not have restaurants like this where I live. I’ve tried lots of poke places whenever I get a chance and this is my favorite! Great staff, delicious options (build your own bowl), generous portions. Bubble teas are also great here!! Very consistent quality. I go anytime I’m close. I recommend giving this place a try!“
